Module 8 | Day 4 | Waldorf Practical Arts Training
Welcome to Day 4 of Waldorf Practical Arts Training for Module 8 | Thursday, February 19, 2026
These intensive trainings run three times a year: February, April and June. You may join anytime. There are a total of 9 modules (3 year program) with each module including a soft and hard craft. Participants may also join online but I recommend in person if possible! The energy of working together and being inspired by other students and the feeling of community is unmatched.
This module covers sessions on Anthroposophy given by Terra Malmstrom. The soft crafts are led by Mona Lewis. This module covers grade 8 handwork and the sewing of a garment using a sewing machine. The sewing machine is the first machine used in handwork and grade 8 is the first year students learn to master a machine. The hard crafts are run by Jack Bryant who will led us in an introduction to stone carving. Additionally we have the ancient art of bookbinding taught by Bama.
